Sold on a street corner....

The Three Amigoes, purebred Am Staf pups whose BYB owner sent his children to sell alongside a busy highway.

Actually, the truth is worse than that.

These purebred American Staffordshire terriers, along with their siblings, were "produced" by a backyard breeder. When the pups didn't sell fast enough via ads in the local newspapers, the BYB packed them into a box and sent his kids to sell them to motorists alongside a busy highway!

A rescuer was told that both parents had "papers," and that the pups could be AKC registered. We won't repeat what the rescuer replied.

Exactly what does AKC, UKC, or breed registration really mean?
